About Us

In case you are wondering who we are, here are a few
"fast" facts:

Val & I both grew up in the Deep South in the New Orleans metro area ... Val in St Bernard Parish and me (Renee') on the west bank of the Mississippi, in Jefferson Parish.
Following the events of Hurricane Katrina Aug 29,2005, when we lost our house on Lake Pontchartrain and much loved boat "Bayou Traveller", we moved to the sleepy
little beach town of Milton, Florida... just east of Pensacola. This wonderful waterfront community offers us a quick commute to New Orleans where I work as a residential real estate agent.
Both Val and I LOVE vacations, boating, reading and the mountains.
In April 1998, Val made me the happiest woman in the world... he "surprised" me with a wedding (our own) in Gatlinburg, TN at "Chapel in the Glenn". Although we lost our wedding photos in Hurricane Katrina, our memories will last a lifetime. We revisit the chapel on most of our trips to Gatlinburg.
We love to vacation in both Gulf Shores, AL and Gatlinburg, TN. Our enjoyment of these two resort towns lead us to purchase vacation homes in both areas.
We currently have three vacation homes to share with you in Gatlinburg, TN: "Halfway to Heaven" with 5 Bedrooms and 4 Baths; "The Family Place" with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths; and "Mt LeConte Vista" our 4 Bedroom, 2.5 Bath chalet that offers breathtaking views and upscale decor. All 3 chalets are located in Chalet Village in Gatlinburg, TN.

We have already completed major renovations of "Mount LeConte Vista" and "Halfway To Heaven". The chalets are FABULOUS and offer everything you could want on a vacation. "The Family Place" is our newest rental. We consider this our "economy" cabin, but it still offers great accommodations at a GREAT price!
Our boating adventures led us to the delightful beach town of Gulf Shores, AL. We fell in love with the sugar sand beaches, fabulous restaurants and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. So, we decided that we wanted to own a piece of this delightful sandy paradise.....
If you need a "Beach Retreat", we invite you to stay with us at our lovely Gulf Front 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath condo in the Island Sunrise condo complex. This low density condo complex was just what we were looking for. It offers a sugar sand beach right on the Gulf of Mexico and the beautiful emerald green water will beckon you from our 3rd floor balcony.
We also have a 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo on the water in Slidell, LA. It has a sofa-sleeper so it can sleep up to 4 people. It is only about a 20 - 25 minute drive to downtown New Orleans so it has a great location and great views!
We have recently started renting "The Mandeville House". It is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath single family home in a very nice, upscale subdivision of Mandeville, LA. Mandeville is located across Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans and is about a 45 - 50 minute drive to downtown New Orleans or Baton Rouge.
