You'll feel at home in this charming beach view home. Part of a 4-plex, the Dove House features 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, gorgeous unobstructed Gulf views and a comfy-cozy, no nonsense decor. The House sleeps up to 6 guests with a Queen-size bed in both bedrooms, and a queen-size sofa-sleeper in the den.
Getting to the beach is E-Z. Exit the house, walk downstairs from the 2nd floor, look both ways street-side, cross the street, then feel the sugar soft sand between your toes. walk straight ahead for a short way, and you can enter the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. While this isn't a beach front property, it is offers very easy access to the beach and gulf which are directly across the street.
The Dove House, located in beautiful Perdido Key, FL, is ideal for 1-2 couples, a family, or even an individual looking for an affordable beach getaway.
During your stay, you will enjoy fantastic views of the Gulf of Mexico from the den, 2nd floor deck, kitchen and dining area. The deck is very large and id covered, so you can enjoy the beautiful views of the gulf in any kind of weather.
If you need to stay connected during your stay, this home features free high speed wireless internet!!!
Both bedrooms have Queen-size beds, en suite bathroom, closet and cable TV. Bathroom # 1 features tub-shower combination. Bathroom # 2 features a small shower.
And, don't forget the Twin mattress which is stored under one of the Queen beds and can be used if needed. Linens are provided for all of the beds and towels, hand towels and wash cloths are provided for both bathrooms.
If you are travelling with a little one and need a crib, we can provide a pack & play portable crib with advance notice and for a small fee.
The condo's living area features white tile, light colored painted walls, forest green high back sofa, cable TV, 2 dining tables with seating for 7, and a well equipped kitchen. In the kitchen, you will find a full size refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, electric range/oven, microwave, coffee maker, plates, cups, utensils & more! Also located in the Dove House is a full size washer & dryer, so you can pack lighter!
The slider from the living area opens onto the large covered deck. This is a great place to start the day with morning coffee, relax in the afternoon with a cool beverage or cocktail, or just sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds of the glorious Gulf!
The Dove House is located in the heart of Perdido Key. Lillian's Pizza is right next door and within walking distance. Nearby is one of our favorite seafood restaurants, The Shrimp Basket. We also recommend The Oyster Bar, Fisherman's Corner, Vallharta's Mexican Restaurant, and the Sunset Grill. Just over the Intercoastal Waterway Bridge, the Theo Baars bridge are two grocery stores, Publix & Winn Dixie, CVS drug store, Dollar General, Innerarity Hardware and other retail stores.
Perdido Key offers a beautiful natural seashore, gorgeous gulf water, fishing, boating, pristine sugar sand beaches, unique wildlife, trees and plants. But, if you crave shopping, the cinema and other vacation activities, Orange Beach & Gulf Shores, AL are just a quick 10-20 minute drive west on the beach highway! If you venture that way, be sure to checkout the Wharf which offers a multi-screen cinema, Ferris wheel, many retail and specialty shops, plus several great restaurants.
