You'll feel at home in this terrific single family home in Mandeville, Louisiana. The house is located in a residential neighborhood that offers a convenient commute to New Orleans, Metairie, Covington, Kenner, Slidell, Hammond and Baton Rouge.
The home can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests with 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom offers a Queen-size bed and private attached bath with jetted tub! Guest bedroom #1 features a King-size bed with full bath nearby. This full bath is also convenient to the 3rd bedroom and features a tub/shower combo. It's a great place for couples or a family.
Located in the beautiful West St Tammany community of Mandeville, LA, the house is only 5 minutes to the St Tammany Trace, 20 minutes from I-10, 45 minutes to downtown New Orleans, and 1.5 hrs to the Mississippi Gulf Coast casinos.
You will also enjoy the shopping, restaurants and scenic drives in the Mandeville area. Take a bike ride through The Trace, drive to Madisonville and enjoy some wonderful local dishes at one of the restaurants located along the Tchefuncte River, drive to the Mandeville Lakefront and watch the sailboats and power boats cruise Lake Pontchartrain. The Mandeville Lakefront also offers delicious dining and several local pubs. Or, venture into Madisonville, a unique riverfront community with great restaurants and history. Historic Abita Springs is just a short drive North on I-59. Mandeville also offers a movie theater, shopping, local and popular chain restaurants. There's so much to do in and around Mandeville!
The interior of the house is freshly painted and the exterior has just been pressure washed. The den, dining area, office, and both bedrooms boasts new bamboo wood flooring. You will enjoy the plush decor, leather sectional sofa, fireplace, glass top dining table for 6 and lovely treed yard. The backyard offers a wonderful place to relax, read or play. The yard has a 3.5 ft picket fence, gas BBQ grill, and deck and patio furniture.
The master bedroom offers a comfortable Queen-size bed, 20" TV with satellite, reading lamps, alarm clock, private attached bath with jetted tub. The guest bedroom offers King-size bed, TV and reading lamps. The 3rd bedroom features 2 twin (single) beds, and reading lamps. All of our mattresses are encased in a protective covering. No bed bugs here!
The Den offers a gas fireplace, new leather sectional sofa, two upholstered chairs, a rocker and TV with satellite, VCR and DVD player. High speed wireless internet is provided and free local calls.
